In my Spanish class, students who already know Spanish, learn to perfect and talk fluently Spanish. In this class we usally start a chapter every week and then take a quiz. I actually really like this class because everyone is on the same level as me. Even though I am Mexican, I don't really know how to speak really flently in Spanish, but this class has helped me learn. |
Homework Mr. Aberle usually assigns us homework every day. The only days in which we don't have homework is when we have a substitute or the day we have a test.
The image on your left is a picture homework I had last month. It talks about what a friend and I would do this weekend. Even though this is not real, these are just something’s we would have done if we could of. If we could do or go anywhere we could over the weekend, my friend and I would go shopping. We would go shopping because we haven’t gone in a long time. After that we would go to watch a movie. We would go watch a movie because we really enjoying watching them. After that we would go home and rest. This homework assignment reminded me of a poem I did last year. Last year in my 6th grade class, we did a poem on our ideal world. This sort of ties in with the homework from Spanish class because I could choose what I wanted to do. For this document, I used Google Docs. I think Google Docs. is good because it lets me access my work from any computer with internet. |
VerbsIn my Spanish class, we have been learning about different verbs. Both regular and irregular. I learned how to change the words by dropping certain letters and adding letters to the end of the word. If you can't under stand the words in Spanish, I'll tell you what they mean in English. Yo means I. Tu means you. El means him. Nosotros means us, and ellos means them. Easy right?
Some ExamplesHere are some examples of words I learned. If you don't know Spanish, I translate theses words. Hablar means "to talk". Comer means "to eat". And vivir means "to live". The words under them are just the five forms of how you would say them. Like if you want to say I talk in Spanish you would say "Yo hable.

Mi NiñezThis is a project we had to do in our Spanish class. We had to write about our childhood. In this project I explained how I loved to go to school, paint, draw, and run around. When I was small I used to love playing with my older sibilings. I also loved watching the Power Puff Girls.
